The much-anticipated finale of Bigg Boss 18 took a surprising turn when Bollywood megastar Akshay Kumar abruptly left the set without filming his segment. Scheduled to promote his upcoming movie Sky Force alongside co-star Veer Pahariya, Kumar’s sudden departure left fans and media buzzing with speculation.
The Reason Behind Akshay’s Exit
Salman Khan, the long-standing host of the reality show, addressed the incident during the finale. “Akki (Akshay Kumar) is also in the film. I got a little late, and he had to leave for another function, so he left,” said Salman, clearing the air about Kumar’s absence. Reports suggested that Akshay arrived on time but left after waiting for over an hour due to professional commitments related to his other film, Jolly LLB 3.
Failed Attempts to Bring Him Back
Despite efforts by the show’s makers to bring Akshay back on set, the actor reportedly declined due to his packed schedule. His co-star Veer Pahariya and the recently evicted contestant Eisha Singh eventually joined Salman on stage to represent Sky Force.

Directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur, Sky Force is a war thriller co-starring Sara Ali Khan and Nimrat Kaur. The film is slated for a January 24 release, coinciding with the Indian Republic Day celebrations, adding to the patriotic fervor.
