Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan made headlines as he stepped out for the teaser launch event of his upcoming Netflix film, “Jewel Thief – The Heist Begins,” marking his first public appearance since last month’s shocking knife attack.
The actor, who had reportedly suffered six injuries, including two wounds to the neck, appeared at the event with a cast on his arm and a bandage around his neck, raising concerns and speculations regarding the speed of his recovery.
Jaideep Ahlawat Breaks His Silence on Saif’s Recovery
Saif’s co-star, Jaideep Ahlawat, known for his performance in “Paatal Lok,” addressed the ongoing chatter surrounding the actor’s fast recovery.
In an interview with an Indian media outlet, Ahlawat dismissed speculation that the injuries were exaggerated, emphasizing the dedication and resilience of the Bollywood superstar.
“I know he is hurt. I have seen those marks and everything,” Ahlawat said.
He further revealed that Saif Ali Khan wasted no time in getting back to work on their film, showing immense commitment despite the recent trauma.
Media Speculation Surrounding the Incident
Since the attack, many have questioned the severity of Saif Ali Khan’s injuries, with some suggesting that the hospital discharge and recovery timeline seemed unusually quick. However, Ahlawat’s statements offer a clear perspective on the actor’s determination to continue working despite his condition.
While this marks the first collaboration between Ahlawat and Khan, the Paatal Lok star has previously worked with Kareena Kapoor Khan in the Netflix thriller “Jaane Jaan.”
