A Heartfelt Tribute to ‘WandaVision’
As anticipation builds for the release of Marvel’s highly anticipated film Thunderbolts this Friday, Florence Pugh shared her favorite moment from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) during a recent interview with co-star David Harbour.
The 29-year-old English actress, who plays Yelena Belova, expressed deep admiration for Disney+’s WandaVision series.
“I love Elizabeth Olsen in WandaVision and everything that they did on that show,” Pugh said. “It was such a beautiful show. It stands alone — it’s really gorgeous — and the love that I just felt from the screen was amazing.”
Pugh’s admiration highlights the impact WandaVision had not only on audiences but also on her fellow Marvel performers.
David Harbour’s Pick from the MCU’s Early Days
Meanwhile, Harbour, who reprises his role as Alexei Shostakov, chose a nostalgic moment from the original Iron Man film.
“I like from the original Iron Man, the moment when he’s with Jeff Bridges, talking about the suit or whatever and saying, ‘Did you figure out the cooling problem?'” Harbour recalled.
His choice underlines the lasting impact of Marvel’s early successes on both fans and actors alike.
‘Thunderbolts*’: A New Chapter for Marvel
Set to release on May 2, Thunderbolts features a star-studded ensemble including Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell, Lewis Pullman, and Olga Kurylenko. The movie has already generated positive buzz from early screenings.
Critics praise the film for its blend of action, humor, and darker, character-driven storytelling — a hallmark of Marvel’s evolving cinematic approach.
