The latest episode of popular Pakistani drama Humrahi delivered one of the biggest twists of the series as the story of its most feared character, Ghazi Yousuf, came to a shocking end. Episode 36 left viewers surprised as the ruthless villain faced the consequences of his actions after dominating the storyline for weeks.
Following the episode’s broadcast, actor Shahzad Nawaz, who portrayed Ghazi Yousuf, shared an emotional farewell message with fans. He expressed gratitude to the cast, crew, production team, and viewers who supported his journey as one of the drama’s most memorable characters.
“And with the end of Episode 36 tonight, my journey in Humrahi comes to an end as well,” Shahzad Nawaz wrote. He thanked Big Productions Official and producer Babar Javed for trusting him with the challenging role and described the opportunity to play Ghazi Yousuf as a rewarding experience.
The actor also appreciated his fellow cast members, including Salman Zafar Asim, Danish Taimoor, Hiba Bukhari, and Mehboob Sultan. He shared that working with the team provided valuable experiences and made his time on set memorable.
Shahzad Nawaz further thanked Har Pal Geo and the audience for their continued support. He said the love and appreciation received for his portrayal of Ghazi Yousuf made the character’s journey even more meaningful.
Throughout Humrahi, Ghazi Yousuf emerged as one of the most dangerous and powerful villains in the drama. His ruthless decisions and manipulative personality made him a character viewers loved to hate.
One of the most shocking moments in the drama came when Ghazi murdered his own daughter-in-law, Elif, played by Hiba Bukhari, to arrange a heart transplant for his critically ill son, Sayhaan, portrayed by Danish Taimoor. The storyline created intense discussions among viewers due to its emotional and dramatic impact.
Episode 36 finally showed Ghazi facing the consequences of his actions. In a tense confrontation, his longtime rival Lala managed to corner him despite Ghazi’s strong security presence. His powerful position could not protect him as his guards failed to prevent the deadly outcome.
Even Zakariya, played by Mehboob Sultan and known as Ghazi’s most loyal companion, was unable to save him. As the situation became unavoidable, Ghazi remained fearless and refused to show weakness.
Before his death, Ghazi delivered a final warning to Zakariya, claiming that although Lala might succeed in killing him, the consequences of his actions would continue. He predicted that his son Sayhaan would inherit his determination and eventually seek revenge.
Moments later, Ghazi Yousuf was shot dead, marking the end of his reign as the drama’s central antagonist. However, the episode also hinted that his influence on the story may continue through Sayhaan’s character.
In another emotional scene, Sayhaan suddenly woke up after experiencing a disturbing nightmare in which he witnessed his father’s death. Calling out for Ghazi, he remained unaware that the tragic event had already happened.
The loss of Ghazi appears to be a turning point for Sayhaan, who may now move toward a darker path driven by revenge. The emotional trauma and desire for justice could transform his character and introduce a new chapter in Humrahi’s storyline.
After the episode aired, viewers flooded social media with reactions, praising the drama’s suspenseful storytelling, powerful performances, and Shahzad Nawaz’s portrayal of Ghazi Yousuf. Many fans described the character’s exit as one of the most impactful moments of the serial.
