Star-Studded Cast Assembles for ‘Ready or Not: Here I Come’
In a thrilling update for horror fans, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Elijah Wood have officially joined the cast of Ready or Not: Here I Come, the much-anticipated sequel to the 2019 breakout horror hit. The film, under development by Searchlight Pictures, is currently shooting in Toronto.
Returning cast members Samara Weaving and Kathryn Newton are set to reprise their roles, joined by new additions that promise to take the suspense to the next level. Alongside Gellar and Wood, actors Shawn Hatosy, Néstor Carbonell, Kevin Durand, and horror auteur David Cronenberg will appear in the sequel.
Gellar Returns to Her Horror Roots
Fans of the genre are especially excited to see Sarah Michelle Gellar return to horror. Widely known for her iconic role as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Gellar also headlined horror staples such as The Grudge, Scream 2, and I Know What You Did Last Summer. Elijah Wood, who gained global fame as Frodo in The Lord of the Rings, has proven his versatility in indie thrillers and psychological horror. With notable performances in Maniac, Come to Daddy, and the critically acclaimed series Yellowjackets, Wood’s involvement gives the sequel added credibility and allure.
