Punjabi music is set to gain international attention as Indian singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh prepares to perform at the 27th Latin Grammy Awards in Las Vegas. His appearance at the prestigious music ceremony marks another significant moment for Punjabi music as it continues to reach audiences across different cultures and international music markets.

The awards ceremony will take place on November 12, 2026, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The Latin Recording Academy officially confirmed Diljit’s participation on November 5, adding him to an impressive lineup of international performers.

The newly announced lineup includes major names such as Karol G and Bizarrap, alongside Baby Ranks, Bad Gyal, Miguel Colón, Divino, DJ Premier, Grupo Niche, Jay Wheeler, Lil Supa, Luis Enrique, Nathy Peluso, and Ángel “Cucco” Peña.

Diljit’s inclusion in the performance lineup has attracted attention from his fans, particularly those celebrating the international recognition of Punjabi music. His team also shared the excitement on social media with the message, “Punjabi AA Gaye Grammy Oye,” reflecting the significance of his participation in the global music event.

Known for blending Punjabi musical traditions with contemporary sounds, Diljit has established a strong international presence through his music, live performances, and acting projects. His growing popularity has helped introduce Punjabi entertainment to audiences beyond South Asia.

The 27th Latin Grammy Awards will once again feature Roselyn Sánchez as its host. She is returning to the ceremony for the 10th time, continuing her long association with one of the most prominent celebrations of Latin music.

The event will be broadcast live across TelevisaUnivision’s platforms in the United States. The main ceremony is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. Eastern Time, followed by a pre-show at 7 p.m. Red carpet coverage will start at 5 p.m., giving viewers an opportunity to follow the arrivals and activities before the main event.

This year’s ceremony will also pay tribute to the late José Alfredo Jiménez, the legendary Mexican ranchera singer and songwriter whose music has had a lasting influence on Latin American culture.

Meanwhile, Diljit is continuing his musical activities in India through his Aura India Tour. The tour began in Delhi on October 30, with Indore scheduled as another destination on November 15.

Apart from his live performances, the singer is also involved in a major film-related musical project. He has recorded a rendition of the Hanuman Chalisa for filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming film Ramayana.

The combination of his international music appearance, ongoing concert tour, and involvement in Indian cinema highlights Diljit’s expanding career across multiple entertainment industries.

His upcoming performance at the Latin Grammys is expected to bring Punjabi music into the spotlight at a ceremony traditionally associated with Latin music and artists. It also reflects the increasingly international nature of the music industry, where performers from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds are reaching wider audiences through global collaborations and major entertainment platforms.

With the November 12 ceremony approaching, fans are looking forward to seeing Diljit Dosanjh represent Punjabi music on one of the biggest international music stages.
