Kim Kardashian Surprises Kourtney with Iconic Pee-wee’s Big Adventure Bike for Christmas

\Kim Kardashian delivered a memorable Christmas surprise to her sister Kourtney Kardashian by gifting her the legendary red bicycle from the 1985 cult classic Pee-wee’s Big Adventure. Kourtney, 46, shared the exciting moment on Instagram Stories, proudly revealing the one-of-a-kind movie prop to her followers.

“If anyone’s looking for Pee-wee’s bicycle… I have it,” Kourtney wrote, adding, “Coolest Christmas present @kimkardashian,” highlighting just how special the gift was. The red bicycle, instantly recognizable in Hollywood history, played a central role in the film, which marked Tim Burton’s directorial debut and introduced Paul Reubens as the beloved Pee-wee Herman.

In Pee-wee’s Big Adventure, the bicycle is almost a character itself, appearing in iconic scenes at diners, truck stops, the Alamo, and even the Warner Bros backlot, as Pee-wee embarks on a cross-country quest to recover it from his rival, Francis. Kourtney even shared a still from the film showing Pee-wee lovingly gazing at the bike, captioned: “Me on Christmas morning,” emphasizing the emotional and nostalgic value of the gift.

The gift comes just months after one of the 14 bicycles used during filming sold at auction for an astonishing $125,000 in May at Van Eaton Galleries in Los Angeles. Originally estimated to sell for $30,000 to $60,000, the final price far exceeded expectations, reflecting the rarity and cultural significance of the memorabilia.

It is currently unclear whether the bike Kim gifted Kourtney is the same one sold at auction or another version used during filming. Representatives for Kim Kardashian have been contacted for clarification.

The bicycle originally belonged to the estate of animation producer Jay Ward, famed for classics such as Rocky & Bullwinkle, Dudley Do-Right, and George of the Jungle. Ward’s extensive collection of rare entertainment memorabilia has been gradually sold in recent years, making this gift all the more remarkable.
